Charles River CFO, Inc. seeks to add an experienced accountant to our core business.  In this capacity, the position can be 20-40 hours per week.  CRCFO is expanding and we need someone with 4+ years of experience working in an accounting department. Candidate must reside in New England.


Working as an embedded part of our client’s organization, you will work under the Controller to support the accounting function for each client.  We’re searching for an experienced accountant to join our team of high-performing professionals and keep each client's finances positioned for continued success.

What you’ll do:

  • General ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable  
  • Research and reconcile all discrepancies
  • Auditing and verifying documents
  • Following internal controls
  • Financial analysis on a requested basis


What we’re looking for:

  • Must have an Accounting degree and at least 3 years of experience
  • Strong communication /interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated experience with QuickBooks and Excel
  • Experience with Bill.com is a plus
  • Ability to meet deliverables in a timely manner
  • Adherence to policies, procedures, and instructions
  • Ability to maintain good working relationships with client companies
  • Ability to function as a team player
